Euro-2026 Futsal. Ukraine Secures Fifth Consecutive Victory in Qualifiers.
The Ukrainian national team continues its performances in the main round of Euro-2026 futsal qualifiers with an impressive victory over the Cypriot team, winning 11-1. The players of Oleksandr Kosenko proved to be much stronger than their opponents and achieved their fifth victory in five matches.
Right at the start of the game, the Ukrainian futsal players took the initiative. Zhuk scored the first goal, followed by Melnyk and Semenchenko also lighting up the scoreboard. Cyprus was able to please its supporters with a scored goal as well. In the first half, Ukraine managed to score four more goals, using the Cypriot goalkeeper as a fifth field player. After the break, our team continued to attack and score goals, leading to a crushing result.
Ukraine is currently in first place in the group with 15 points. If Romania fails to defeat Germany, our team will have already secured a spot in Euro-2026.
The last match for the Ukrainians will be against Romania in Polish Koszalin on April 15. It will be crucial for Oleksandr Kosenko's team, as they must advance to the playoffs of the European Championship qualification tournament.
