Europe must ensure that Ukraine has leverage in future negotiations — media.
According to media reports, Joe Biden has allowed Ukraine to attack Russian territory with long-range missiles in response to Putin's actions in the Kursk region. However, this does not change the rules of the game in the war of attrition.
The theory suggests that Trump may prohibit the provision of aid to Ukraine in order to impose an unjust peace. Therefore, European countries need a strategy to respond to such a scenario.
However, creating such a strategy is a challenging task. The launch of a ballistic missile over Dnipro, which occurred on November 21, was aimed at European voters who fear further escalation of the war.
'If U.S. policy on aid to Ukraine changes, Europe must take the lead in supporting Ukraine militarily and financially. This also requires support from President Zelensky and ensuring that Europe's voice is heard on the international stage,' the newspaper wrote.
After Trump's inauguration, Europe will need to strongly support Ukraine, as this is crucial for Europe's security.
