The screening will take place on February 17, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Central House of the Chess Player located at: Moscow, Gogolevsky Boulevard, 14', - stated on the official website of the Chess Federation of Russia.
According to media reports, the occupier Vadim Yambarshev, who played amateur football and served in military unit 25594, which services the Strategic Nuclear Forces of Russia, was eliminated by the Ukrainian defense forces.
It is noted that Yambarshev was born on February 6, 1999, and played for the team 'Kuknur'. This team participates in amateur level tournaments and is a prizewinner of the championship of the Sernur district.
The occupier was buried on January 20, 2025, but he went missing back in the fall of last year. A found post about the search for Yambarshev on the social network VKontakte indicates his disappearance on November 2, 2024, while carrying out a task in the Toretsky direction.
The post also mentions that the military unit 25594, to which Yambarshev belonged, services the Strategic Nuclear Forces of the Russian Federation and is located in the city of Vologda-20.
It is also reported that in the Kursk region, the occupier Alexander Rudy was eliminated, who was a well-known athlete in shotokan karate-do. Information about the circumstances of his death is currently unavailable.
At the tournament dedicated to Rudy's memory, the Russians acknowledged that he was eliminated on the territory of the Kursk region.
