Tyson Fury announced that he will never return to boxing: what is known about his plans.
Tyson Fury, the former heavyweight champion, is currently actively training, but in one of his comments to Sky Sports, he stated that he may not return to the ring.
Will Fury return to the ring
In his statement, Fury said: ''I will never return. I'm too old, look at my gray beard. Boxing is for the young,' he stated.
After two defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, the 36-year-old Brit stepped away from the sport in January 2025, but then decided to return for a third fight with the Ukrainian. Fury even proposed the date of April 18, 2026, for this bout at Wembley Stadium.
Despite his statement about a possible end to his boxing career, Tyson Fury continues to train and maintain good physical shape.
It is noteworthy that recently, Ukrainian veteran Georgiy Bushchan won in boxing, and Lennox Lewis explained why Daniel Dubois was unable to continue fighting Oleksandr Usyk. Additionally, the Brazilian national team may not be allowed to the 2026 World Cup in the USA, and one former UFC fighter traveled to Russia, where he met with Russian soldiers.
