On October 11, 2024, the Ukrainian team achieved an important victory over Georgia with a score of 1:0. The game took place in Poznan, Poland.
Ukraine scored the only goal in the 35th minute. Mykhailo Mudryk received the ball from Heorhiy Sudakov and precisely shot it into the goal from outside the penalty area.
After the goal, Ukraine continued to dominate, while Georgia couldn't capitalize on their chances. Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatolii Trubin defended his goal. This was Ukraine's first victory in the Nations League and the first points in the group.
