Former Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and current president of the National Olympic Committee Vadym Guttsait stated that the number of athletes under a neutral flag is increasing. According to him, in many sports, Russians and Belarusians are more frequently allowed to compete.
Vadym Guttsait emphasized that there is a growing number of athletes competing under a neutral flag. He noted that Ukrainian athletes remain faithful to their position, not interacting with such participants, and strive to prevent their participation in competitions. Moreover, Guttsait does not rule out the possibility of Belarusian representatives participating under a neutral flag.
