January Meeting of Allies: What Security Guarantees Ukraine Will Receive.
According to ТСН: European allies of Ukraine will gather in January to agree on plans for security guarantees after a ceasefire, including the possible deployment of troops on Ukrainian territory.
According to information, French President Emmanuel Macron wants the "coalition of the willing" - a group of states supporting Ukraine - to finalize discussions on support for Ukraine after the ceasefire in the near future.
The approved security guarantees are expected to help Ukraine clearly understand the long-term support from European partners.
Security Guarantees
In recent months, dozens of countries, led by France and the United Kingdom, have been actively working on so-called "security guarantees". They involve the deployment of troops on site, financial assistance, arms supplies, and other measures aimed at deterring Russia from potential new attacks on Ukraine.
Currently, European capitals are awaiting Russia's response to a 20-point plan for a peaceful settlement, which is under consideration in Moscow.
"Ukrainians, Europeans, and Americans agree, and we believe that now Russia must provide a clear response," added the source.
We recall that during a recent meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump, several documents regarding security guarantees for Ukraine were discussed.
In summary, the January meeting will become an important step in forming long-term security guarantees for Ukraine. The situation with the peaceful settlement remains tense, and Russia's reaction to the proposed plan will have significant consequences for the further actions of allies.
