Legendary goalkeeper Dominik Hasek has condemned US President Trump

«Trump threatens to «withdraw» from peace talks between Ukraine and Russia if no progress is made… Now that he is leaving, it is already too late. In just 110 days, Trump has caused much harm and helped imperialistic Russia and criminal Putin more than any other politician in the world since the war began in February 2022,» – wrote Hasek.

Dominik Hasek has been opposing the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in international competitions since the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine. He is the Olympic champion of 1998 and a two-time Stanley Cup winner.

Hasek revealed Medvedev's plans regarding him

«Today I sent two official letters... I consider both letters very important not only for the IOC and IIHF but also for the entire sporting, as well as the non-sporting community. Therefore, I will publish them in a few days,» – Hasek wrote on social media.

In response to this, Medvedev expressed a desire to see Hasek's suicide in his telegram channel. However, some politicians, including former deputy and boxer Valuev, believe that the goalkeeper's words are not worthy of attention.
