UN General Assembly: what President Zelensky will talk about.

On September 24, the general debates begin at the UN General Assembly, where US President Joe Biden will speak. On September 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will have his say.

Zelensky announced that he plans to personally acquaint Western partners, particularly President Biden, as well as US presidential candidates Trump and Harris, with the plan for victory.

"The victory package that I will present to the US President can lead to a reliable peace - to the full implementation of the Peace Formula," Zelensky noted on September 13.

The president also emphasized the need for sufficient long-range capabilities to change the course of the war and make Russia seek peace.

"...The only way to counter this terror is a systematic solution. This is a solution regarding long-range capabilities. To destroy Russian military aviation where it is based. This is an obvious, logical solution. We have already explained to all our partners why Ukraine really needs sufficient long-range capabilities. And every such Russian strike, every manifestation of Russian terror, like today against Kharkiv, against our Sumy region, against our Donetsk region - all this proves that long-range capabilities must be - and must be sufficient. We expect corresponding decisions, first of all from the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy - everyone who can help save lives by their determination."

It is also known that the meeting of leaders who will gather at the UN General Assembly in September will be a place for agreements on further support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.

This concerns the agreement of countries supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons that they can be used against targets deep in Russia, from where Russia strikes Ukrainian cities.

The Kyiv government believes that these strikes in Russia only correspond to Ukraine's right to self-defense according to the UN charter, and can also help stop the war from Russia's side.
