Report on Invader Losses
According to UATV: On February 27, 2023, Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,280 Russian military personnel and destroyed 116 pieces of military hardware. The destroyed equipment included:
- 17 artillery systems
- 6 armored combat vehicles
- 2 tanks
These figures, provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, highlight the significant losses sustained by Russian forces in ongoing combat operations. These daily reports are a key metric for tracking the war's intensity.
Cumulative Losses of the Occupation Forces
Since the full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022, the total personnel losses for Russian forces have reached 1,265,130. Over the same period, the invaders have also lost a staggering amount of equipment, including:
- 11,706 tanks
- 24,097 armored combat vehicles
- 37,631 artillery systems
Substantial losses have also been recorded in other critical categories of military assets:
- 1,659 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
- 1,305 air defense systems
- 435 aircraft
- 348 helicopters
Furthermore, Russian forces have lost 148,021 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), 4,384 cruise missiles, 29 ships and cutters, and 2 submarines. The destruction also extends to 80,180 units of automotive equipment and fuel tankers, along with 4,075 pieces of special equipment. These numbers underscore the immense material cost Russia has paid for its war of aggression, which has now entered its third year.
These statistics reflect not only the operational situation on the front lines but also the scale of effort Ukrainian forces are exerting to defend the country's territorial integrity.
The loss of such a significant quantity of personnel and equipment is likely to degrade the enemy's combat capability and influence its future war strategy. The situation remains tense, and developments may continue to shift based on the actions of both sides in the conflict.
