Shutdown schedules return: where and when there will be no electricity on September 12.
Power outages again in several regions of Ukraine
On September 12, stabilization power outages are planned in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions. This information was reported by the press service of DTEK.
«At the command of «Ukrenergo» from 13:00 to 23:00 in the specified regions, one queue of outages will be applied», – the message says.
Earlier, it was stated that the use of restrictions regarding electricity on this day is not anticipated.
Preparations for winter in the conditions of possible attacks by Russia were discussed earlier. The state protects energy facilities using two levels of protection.
It is worth noting that the cancellation of hourly outages from September 9 led to an increase in electricity consumption in Ukraine.
The construction of the third level of passive protection at the substations of NEC «Ukrenergo» has begun. However, international partners do not consider it advisable to finance such an expensive project before its trials are conducted.
The European Commission is also working on increasing the supply of electricity to Ukraine.
The former head of «Ukrenergo» Volodymyr Kudrytskyi previously reported that Ukraine's energy facilities have three levels of protection against Russian attacks.
