UNHCR to pay 10.8 thousand UAH to displaced persons in Sumy region: who will receive assistance.
In particular, in the city of Romny, registration will be conducted for financial assistance for those who were forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression. Each family member will be able to receive 10.8 thousand UAH (3.6 thousand UAH per month for three months).
UNHCR will accept applications from internally displaced persons and those who have returned from abroad due to the Russian invasion. Vulnerable categories of citizens will have priority for receiving financial assistance: families with single parents and children, households where elderly people are raising children, or families with sick or disabled persons who have an income below 5.4 thousand UAH per person.
To register for the financial aid program in Romny, you need to call 063 182 68 38 and schedule an appointment. Mobile groups are also planned to travel for registration of those interested in the city of Buryn and the village of Velykyi Vystorop in the Sumy region.
Furthermore, we remind that in Ukraine there is a grant program for girls and women with disabilities for the amount of 200 thousand UAH, as well as possible financial assistance from the Charity Fund 'Women's Opportunities in Ukraine' up to 70 thousand UAH.
