Woman from Kharkiv Region Urged Russia to Strike Kyiv with Missiles – Case Now in Court.
Pro-Russian Propaganda Uncovered in Kharkiv Region
According to Novyny.live: A 57-year-old woman from the Chuhuiv district has been exposed for spreading Russian propaganda online and calling for missile attacks on Kyiv. Since the summer of 2024, she regularly posted anti-Ukrainian content, specifically urging Russian forces to target the government quarter in the capital. In her posts, she referenced the so-called 'Russian ballistic missile Oreshnik.'
Her case has now been sent to court. She faces charges related to calls for the violent overthrow of the government. If convicted, she could receive up to five years in prison along with asset forfeiture.
Additional Betrayal Cases in Kharkiv Region
Authorities have also uncovered several other individuals involved in acts of betrayal in the area:
- A 43-year-old man from the Kharkiv district, who was collecting data on Ukrainian military positions.
- A minor working for Russia—a 16-year-old local student recruited via Telegram.
- A 29-year-old man detained on charges of high treason under martial law.
These cases highlight the serious threats to Ukraine’s national security and the urgent need for vigilance against pro-Russian propaganda and treachery.
