Harry Kane to miss England match against Wales: who will replace the captain.
Kane will miss the game against Wales due to injury
According to The Sun: The England national team will not be able to rely on its captain Harry Kane in the match against Wales due to injury. The Three Lions will play a friendly match before the World Cup qualifying match scheduled for next week in Latvia.
PAThe team will be without its star player due to a blow received in the game for Bayern last week.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed:
“Harry will miss the game. He received a blow in the last game against Bayern, and the risk of receiving another injury is too high.”
Tuchel also named potential captains during Kane’s absence:
“The captain will be one of Jordan Henderson, John Stones, or Declan Rice.”
Kane is struggling with an ankle issue and did not participate in full training on Wednesday; instead, he was following an individual program.
Central defender from Bayer Leverkusen, Yarell Kwanza also worked separately.
Kane left the field with an injury five minutes before the end of the Bundesliga match against Eintracht.

The striker has already scored 18 goals this season.
Kane’s absence could significantly impact England’s play, especially ahead of important World Cup qualifying matches. In a situation where the team is preparing to compete with other strong opponents, determining a new captain will be an important step to maintain team spirit and stability. Fans hope for Kane's swift recovery, as his contribution to the game is extremely valuable for the national team.
