Haters can’t rejoice yet: Kristina Soloviy made an announcement about further performances.
Ukrainian singer Kristina Soloviy announced that she is suspending her concert activities for an indefinite period. Her last concert will take place in Kyiv on December 4. The artist informed about this on her Instagram profile.
"I rush to inform you that my concert in Kyiv on December 4 will be the last. I am taking a break from performances for an indefinite period. Do not be sad, my fans, and do not touch, my neutral relations," Soloviy wrote.
The singer explained that she is taking a break from concert activities to realize her creative ideas and concepts.
"I have received inspiration and have the strength for new creative achievements. Each of you has inspired me with long, energetic and tireless performances. And the Time has come to turn this inspiration into new material," she added.
We remind that at the end of September a court session took place in Chornomorsk, Odesa region regarding the use of obscene language during Soloviy's concert. The singer was accused of petty hooliganism. However, the court acquitted the artist. In her speech before the court, Soloviy expressed a low opinion of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, for which she was warned by the judge. She also refused to admit her guilt, stating that the court session is a test of the maturity and justice of the Ukrainian people. Soloviy's lawyer noted that the protocol of the violation was drawn up improperly, and the evidence against her was not convincing. After conducting the evidence base and listening to the speeches, the court acquitted Kristina Soloviy due to the lack of an offense.
Earlier, on July 26, Kristina Soloviy performed at the VidelkaFest festival. During communication with the audience, she asked if they liked the old name of Chornomorsk - Illichivsk, and then commented on it with the words "Complete shit." After the performance, local residents of Chornomorsk filed a complaint with the police, accusing the artist of violating public order - publicly using obscene language. The police confirmed that a protocol was drawn up against Soloviy under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses - petty hooliganism.
