In 1990, Colin the Caterpillar was introduced to the world, and he has since become a true cult hero. This year marks his 35th anniversary, and to celebrate this occasion, a new version has been announced – Arctic Colin.During a tasting event at the Marks & Spencer office, product developer Laura Bradley shared that the development of Arctic Colin took two years and was kept under wraps. This new variant features a semi-frozen mousse-like structure, a softer texture, and a different chocolate top compared to the original. With fewer calories per serving, Arctic Colin is made with free-range eggs and will be available for purchase at the end of summer.The star favorite Colin the Caterpillar rightly enjoys great popularity as a staple of celebrations. And while there are many variations of caterpillar cakes on the market, Colin remains a favorite thanks to his unique charming appearance.After a legal dispute with the Aldi supermarket chain over a similar cake, Caleb Philip, Marks & Spencer, signed an agreement for the exclusive sale of frozen caterpillars next year. To mark the launch of Arctic Colin, M&S has begun social media teasers, building anticipation among followers.Arctic Colin will be available in M&S stores nationwide, offering a new format of the classic caterpillar cake.
