In Marseille, a fight broke out in the locker room after the match: two players on the verge of leaving.
Marseille's Season in Chaos
According to The Sun: Marseille's season began with confusion after one match when a 'scene of chaos' occurred in their locker room, during which two players argued, and another fell unconscious.
The chaos erupted after Roberto De Zerbi's team lost 1-0 to Rennes in the opening match, and frustrations boiled over after the final whistle.
Tension among the players remained high even after the conclusion of the opening Ligue 1 match, where Marseille lost to Rennes 0-1.
Benatia commented on the incident: 'There are usually two or three guys who get caught up in it, that's what some tried to do.'
After the final whistle, the players were supposed to calm down, but Rowe attacked Rabiot twice before they were separated.
Result of the Fight
After Rowe first left the locker room and got on the team bus, he again went after Rabiot and started a conflict.
'For the first time in my career, I didn't know what to do. I've never seen anything like this,' De Zerbi said.
It turns out that after the defeat to Rennes, Marseille not only has problems on the field but also within the team, where serious conflicts have arisen among players.
