According to The Sun: Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar, became the first footballer in the world whose fortune exceeds one billion dollars by signing a two-year contract worth £298 million.

According to the new deal, his salary will be £12.5 million per month at Al-Nassr club in Saudi Arabia. This allowed him to become the first football billionaire according to Bloomberg experts, as the assessment is based on his earnings from 2002 to 2023, as well as income from sponsorship contracts.

Ronaldo is expected to continue his career on the field, playing for Portugal at the 2026 World Cup in the USA, even at 42 years old.
