Irina Bilyk interrupted her anniversary tour due to a serious illness: details revealed (updated).


The People's Artist of Ukraine Irina Bilyk announced that due to her poor health, she is forced to postpone concerts in Odesa and Cherkasy. She reported this on her social media page, addressing her fans. The reason for the postponement of the performances is pneumonia caused by a virus. Irina Bilyk emphasized that this is not an easy decision, but doctors recommended that she rest and recover. All tickets remain valid for the new concert dates, which will be announced soon.
The star also added that she would be grateful to her fans if they keep their tickets, as after rehabilitation she will return to the stage. Already now, Irina Bilyk is looking forward to meeting her fans in Odesa and Cherkasy.
The original dates for performances in Odesa were scheduled for March 24 and 25, and in Cherkasy for March 26. After these concerts, performances in the capital were also planned. Tickets for the first concert were sold out six months in advance, so additional shows were announced. The new concert dates in Odesa and Cherkasy:
Odesa:
- May 4 - Odesa, Musical Comedy Theatre;
- May 6 - Odesa, Opera Theatre.
Cherkasy:
- May 5 - Cherkasy, People’s Friendship Palace.
All previously purchased tickets remain valid.
Irina Bilyk expressed her gratitude to her fans and promised to return with new strength and desire to sing for everyone. It should be noted that during the pandemic, Irina Bilyk had to postpone her concerts in Kyiv several times, but she managed to hold four performances considering quarantine restrictions.
