New Film Announcement: 'Tragedy'
According to Espreso.tv: Pavlo Ostrikov has announced his upcoming film, 'Tragedy', which follows two lonely individuals attempting to bring their loved ones back from the realm of the dead against the backdrop of ancient Greek gods returning to Earth. The project has been selected for the international workshop program MFI Script 2 Film, highlighting its potential on the global cinematic stage.
Ostrikov shared details about the project on his Facebook page. Blending fantasy with an adventurous road movie format, 'Tragedy' is produced by Volodymyr and Anna Yatsenko of the production company ForeFilms. This marks the next major step in the director's career, following his previous film 'You Are the Universe', which earned over 25 awards at international film festivals, including the Grand Prix at the Odesa International Film Festival and the Parajanov Prize. 'You Are the Universe' also won the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine in the category of cinematic arts.
