According to The Sun: Jamie Laing showed off his impressive London residence, joking that the renovation almost led to a divorce from his wife Sophie Habboo.

The 36-year-old former star of 'Made In Chelsea' posted a video on Instagram showcasing his property before and after the renovation, which he and Sophie, 30, spent 14 months on.

In the video, Jamie confessed:

“My wife and I bought our first home and started renovating it…”

 

“After 14 months, 10,000 arguments and nearly a divorce, we finally finished.”

The clip shows an impressive open kitchen and dining area that features a large breakfast bar and leads into a cozy living room.

Jamie and Sophie announced in June that they were expecting their first child.

The couple, known for their jokes at each other during episodes of the podcast 'NearlyParents', have entertained their listeners numerous times. In one recent episode, Sophie mocked Jamie's celebrating skills.

When Jamie said that Sophie “hates to celebrate” and always laughs when he tries to kiss her, she replied:

“I laugh because you actually close your eyes so far away from me to kiss me.”

- she said, closing her eyes, opening her mouth, and leaning in towards Jamie.

 

“And I think you're joking?”

 

“How do you want me to kiss you?”

 

“When we first started dating, you weren't closing your eyes over the table and going…”

- continued Sophie, again parodying her husband.

 

“Because I’d think, oh, distance! You forgot how to kiss!”

 

“No, I haven’t forgotten. I’m a good kisser,”

- replied Jamie.
