Scott Mills confirmed that Jessie will perform at the event, which runs from tomorrow until Sunday. On stage at Hylands Park will also be Stereophonics, Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, Ronan Keating, and Belinda Carlisle.

Jessie, who grew up in Chadwell Heath and describes herself as an 'Essex girl', premiered her new single 'Believe In Magic'.

Scott noted:

“Jessie listened to my show and said, 'Thank you for playing the new song, see you in Chelmsford'.”

“She feels good and is in a positive mindset. She needs to focus on health and be ready for the tour. It’s amazing that she will perform in Chelmsford. This is a homecoming.”

Scott does not plan to have too much fun as he has to prepare his morning show. He added:

“Unlike the days on Radio 1, I’ll mix it up. I’ll pop in briefly, then head back home.”
  • Tickets are still available at bbc.co.uk/radio2inthepark. Listen live on Radio 2 from 12:15 on Saturday.

Saweetie filled her schedule with work, arriving in London for a performance.

Before taking the stage, she visited Capital radio, showcasing style in jeans, platform boots, and a crop top that exposed her stomach.

Fans speculate that her new boyfriend, Aston Villa footballer Jadon Sancho, might come to see her perform.
