Stephen Colbert, host of 'Late Show', joined Kimmel during the taping of 'Kimmel Live!'. This collaboration happened after Kimmel returned to the show, which had been suspended due to his controversial remarks about political activist and influencer Charlie Kirk.

After Kimmel's suspension, Trump praised ABC's actions, saying they 'finally grew a pair'. He also claimed that Kimmel 'has no TALENT' and focused on the show's low ratings.

Additionally, Trump noted his fellow hosts, including Colbert, whose show was canceled by CBS in the summer.

Before Kimmel's broadcast, Trump expressed his outrage on Truth Social: 'I can't believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back', adding that the network is 'under threat' due to 'broadcasting 99% positive garbage from Democrats.'

Kimmel's Return

During his first monologue after returning, Kimmel discussed freedom of speech and the political climate in America. He received a standing ovation and loud chants of 'Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy'.

'If you are just joining us, we are interrupting your usual episode of Celebrity Family Feud to bring you this special report,' he joked.

Kimmel also thanked many friends, including Colbert, Jon Stewart, Meyers, and Jimmy Fallon.

'I am grateful to many who do not share my political views but still stand up for my right to express them,' he said.

Remarks on the Murder of Charlie Kirk

The host emotionally spoke out about the murder of activist Charlie Kirk, clearly condemning his killing.

'It was never my intention to disrespect the murder of a young person,' he said, holding back tears.

Right to Free Speech

Kimmel emphasized the importance of the First Amendment, discussing conversations with comedians from other countries who face persecution for their statements.

'They know how lucky we are here,' Kimmel noted.

The host also mentioned threats from FCC chair Brandon Carr, who has tried to pressure broadcasters.

Chaos During Taping

It became known that the decision to suspend 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' was made just minutes before taping began.

'Things moved quickly. The news reached stations at 3 PM, causing panic among station executives,' an insider explained.

The Murder of Charlie Kirk

Charlie Kirk was killed on September 10 while speaking with students at the University of Valencia in Utah.

Tyler Robinson, 22, allegedly shot Kirk, according to reports from authorities.

This incident sparked significant public outcry, highlighting the importance of discussing free speech and the safety of activists in today's world. The collaboration of famous talk show hosts indicates how crucial it is for them to respond to political events and express their stance to a wide audience.
