John Cena Announced the Date of His Last Match in Career: All the Details.
According to The Sun: One of the most famous WWE performers, John Cena, will have his farewell match after a brilliant 24-year career. The last match is scheduled for December 13, NBC Sports reports.
John Cena, 48, will step into the ring for his final match in WWE on December 13.
Cena's career farewell will be streamed exclusively on the Peacock streaming service as part of a new agreement for broadcasting WWE events.
So far, there has been no confirmation of who will be Cena's opponent in his farewell match. It is likely the fight will take place in or near Boston, in the same state where Cena's hometown of West Newbury, Massachusetts is located.
WWE announced that their premium live events will now be streamed on ESPN platforms starting next month with Wrestlepalooza on September 20. Previously, these events were shown on Peacock, but the changes will take effect after the international clash in Paris on August 31.
Despite announcing that 2025 will be his last year in WWE, Cena is currently on a farewell tour with confirmed stops in countries such as Ireland, France, the USA, and Australia.
