AP Mourinho is expected to receive £13 million for his exit from the club, although he failed to win a title with Fenerbahçe. This club marks the second in his career where he could not claim any accolades, after Tottenham.
According to the Turkish publisher Fanatik, the severance of £13 million will increase his total severance packages to £93 million throughout his entire career.
Throughout his career, Mourinho has made a lot of money in the form of severance payments. The largest amount he received came after his dismissal in the third season at Manchester United, where he received £19.6 million.
For two dismissals at Chelsea, he received £26.3 million, while at Real he earned £17 million. His severance at Tottenham was £15 million, and the least – only £3 million – was at Roma.
The latest dismissal came after a 1-0 loss to Benfica, while the previous game ended in a 0-0 draw.
“The best I can do – if I leave Fenerbahçe – is to go to a club that is not competing in European competitions,” said Mourinho.“So if any club in England that is at the bottom of the table needs a coach – I am ready to go.”
