Angelina's first opponent in the tournament was former Russian player Elina Avanesyan, who currently represents Armenia. According to bookmakers, Avanesyan was considered the favorite of the match.
However, Angelina achieved a crushing victory in two sets - 6:1, 6:2.
The next opponent of the Ukrainian will be determined in the match between Lois Boisson and Elise Mertens.
