Kyiv-Basket has announced the signing of a contract for the next season with 19-year-old Bohdan Maliych. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' referencing FBU.
According to inkorr.com: Bohdan Maliych is a graduate of SDYUSSHOR-5 from Dnipro. In 2022, he moved to Latvia, where he played last season for the team of the Bertans brothers in Valmiera.
Bohdan has already gained popularity among Ukrainian fans — together with his future teammates at Kyiv-Basket Yegor Sushkin and Bohdan Bur, he finished fourth at the 3x3 World Championship among U-18 in 2024. In 2023, Bohdan reached the quarter-finals of the European Youth Olympic Festival as part of the U-18 3x3 national team.
