Sergiy Sydorchuk, a former player of 'Dynamo' and the Ukrainian national team, spoke about his relationship with former Moscow 'Dynamo' footballer Roman Neustädter. Both are currently playing for the Belgian club 'Westerlo'.
I told the sports director, and then the general manager, that I couldn’t take such a step and so on. They advised me to talk to him: 'Just talk – and you will understand everything'. To be honest, I didn't want to talk. But we called each other, and he explained the whole situation.
According to Sydorchuk, at first, he avoided communication with Neustädter due to his Russian origins, but over time he understood that Roman is a good and helpful person who assists in adaptation.
Adaptation to a New Environment
Sergiy Sydorchuk noted that communication with Neustädter significantly eased his quick adaptation to the new team. Roman is already 37 years old and has an impressive football career in Germany and Russia.
