Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced his plans for the start of the heating season in the capital.
In an interview with Kyiv24 TV channel, he shared details about the city's preparations for the cold weather.
According to Klitschko, the heating season is scheduled to start on October 15, but the final decision will depend on the weather.
Klitschko: 'We are monitoring the weather'.
The main criterion for turning on the heating will be the temperature: if the average daily temperature drops below 15 degrees Celsius for three days in a row, the city authorities will give permission to start heating.
It is worth noting that earlier, Naftogaz provided recommendations to Ukrainians on preparing for the heating season.
