Compensation for overpayment for utilities has become possible for Ukrainians. According to the State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection, some companies have inflated tariffs for the population. From now on, citizens can expect compensation of 1.16 million hryvnias.
'Consumer rights protection is our priority. We promptly respond to cases of unjustified tariff increases, as transparency and fairness in their formation is a basic right of every citizen, not an exception,' emphasized Deputy Head of the Service Andrii Kreitor.
To receive compensation in case of doubts about the accuracy of the calculations, citizens can contact the State Service or file a complaint online. After a short time, they will be able to receive reimbursement.
According to the news, Ukrainians can now expect compensation for overpayment for utilities due to companies violating the law. To do this, they need to contact the appropriate services and wait for reimbursement.
