On Wednesday, March 5, four matches of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League took place. This is reported by Glavkom.

"Feyenoord" – "Inter" 0:2 (0:1)

Goals: Thuram (38), Martinez (50).

"Inter" had the advantage throughout the match. In the first half, Barella made a cross from the right flank to the far post, where Thuram was left unmarked, and opened the scoring. At the beginning of the second half, Martinez picked up the ball in the penalty area of "Feyenoord" and doubled the score with a powerful shot.

"Inter" also missed a penalty in the second half – Zielinski's shot was saved by Wellenreuther.

"Bayern" – "Bayer" 3:0 (1:0)

In the German derby, the scoring was opened by Harry Kane with a header at the start of the game. In the second half, Jamal Musiala and Kane increased the score to a rout. It is also worth noting that in the second half, Bayer's player Nordi Mukiele received a red card.

PSG had the advantage throughout the match but failed to capitalize on their chances. Liverpool scored at the end of the game and returns home with an important victory.

At the start of the game, Ukrainian Anatoliy Trubin saved "Benfica" several times after dangerous shots from "Barcelona" players. In the middle of the first half, Barcelona defender Kubarsi received a red card, leaving his team at a disadvantage.

The only goal of the match was scored by Brazilian Raphinha, who helped "Barcelona" secure an away victory.

It should be noted that the return matches of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League will take place on March 11-12, the quarter-finals on April 8-9 and 15-16, the semi-finals on April 29-30 and May 6-7. The final of the tournament will take place on May 31 in Munich (Germany).

As reported, the clubs of Ukrainians Lunin and Zinchenko won their first matches in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.

Additionally, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the deprivation of sports titles from some athletes. In particular, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk and Serhiy Karyakin were stripped of their titles of "Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine" and "Master of Sports of Ukraine," while Kakha Kaladze was deprived of the title of "Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class."

Rowing athlete Larysa Zhalinska, who served in the National Guard and moved to Russia, was stripped of her titles "Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class" and "Master of Sports of Ukraine."

The title of "Master of Sports of Ukraine" was also stripped from Chernivtsi karateka Yevhen Pylypyuk, who did not return to Ukraine after the tournament in Venice, as well as his wife Daria Pylypyuk.
