The Ukrainian government has decided to be strict with foreigners and stateless persons who violate the laws and regulations of the country. Among the reasons listed in the law 'On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons' are the lack of documents, criminal offenses, visa overstays, and much more.
It is also important to know that foreigners who are minors or have refugee status or need additional protection will not be deported from Ukraine. However, to avoid any unpleasantness, it is recommended to adhere to all laws and regulations of the host country, update residency permits, and visit regulatory authorities in a timely manner.
