When will electronic deferments appear in 'Reserve+'? Ministry of Defense Answer.
In the 'Reserve+' app, electronic deferments from mobilization will appear next month. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization Issues, Kateryna Chernohorenko, on the air of the telethon.
According to the Deputy Minister, the electronic deferment service has already been created and is currently undergoing active testing. It will become available in November with the next update of 'Reserve+'. Initially, electronic deferments will be provided to persons with disabilities, students, and postgraduates, and later – to parents with many children.
«First and foremost, deferments for people with disabilities directly. And we are working on gradually adding all other types of deferments. We are moving towards allowing all categories eligible for a deferment to process it online», noted Chernohorenko.
As the Deputy Minister noted, this function will ease the lives of citizens. It will allow Ukrainians to avoid visiting TCC offline.
«Since people will be given the opportunity to enter the application in a few clicks, send a request and, within minutes, if the information about this status is confirmed in other registers, the deferment is loaded directly into the application, in the electronic military registration document», the statement says.
Recall that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to introduce additional functionality to the 'Reserve+' application, which will attract several million more users.
By the way, users of the 'Reserve+' application will soon be able to verify the authenticity of the summons received from the Territorial Recruitment Center, automatically apply for a deferment, and also choose a specialty in the Armed Forces.
Also, the Ministry of Defense is introducing a new format of summons, which will now include a QR code. The innovation will be introduced shortly and the functionality is already being tested.
