Oleh Husiev Seeks Head Coach Role After Departure from Dynamo Kyiv.
Oleh Husiev Aims for a New Chapter in Coaching
According to Novyny.live: Former Dynamo Kyiv assistant coach Oleh Husiev is actively pursuing a new managerial position. He was dismissed from the club in November of last year alongside the rest of Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's coaching staff during a broader reshuffle. Husiev had previously served as an assistant to both Mircea Lucescu and Shovkovskyi at the Ukrainian powerhouse.
Although he currently holds an advisory role to the Dynamo president, Husiev is determined to return to the touchline. He has publicly stated his ambitions, noting:
“I plan to continue working as a coach, specifically as a head coach. I will take a break, analyze the accumulated information and experience. Right now, I am on a brief creative pause.”This underscores his clear intent to advance his career in management.
Staying Connected to the Game
To maintain his connection to modern football, Husiev is regularly observing Dynamo's U-19 youth team and first-team training sessions. This allows him to analyze emerging talents and stay current with tactical trends. His extensive experience as both a player and coach at a top European club could prove valuable to his future employer.
Husiev's career transition reflects a common path in Ukrainian football, where former national team stars move into coaching to develop the next generation. His proactive approach in scouting youth matches is a strategic step for evaluating potential players and preparing for his next challenge. By remaining close to the club environment, he positions himself to be ready when the right opportunity arises.
