Former Dynamo Kyiv Goalkeeper Coach Mykhailov Lands New Role at Livyi Bereh.
Mykhailo Mykhailov Begins a New Chapter
According to Novyny.live: Mykhailo Mykhailov, a former goalkeeper coach for Kyiv's 'Dynamo', has taken on a new position with the club 'Livyi Bereh' as a goalkeeping consultant. The 66-year-old specialist has joined the coaching staff led by head coach Oleksandr Riabokon. In this capacity, he will collaborate with Livyi Bereh's goalkeeper coach, Serhii Karpov.
Mykhailov had been without a job since November 2022, when the entire coaching staff of Kyiv's 'Dynamo' was dismissed. Over his career, he worked for 'Dynamo' from 1993 to 2006 and again from 2009 to 2022, accumulating extensive experience in player training and development.
Outlook for Livyi Bereh
Currently, 'Livyi Bereh' sits in third place in the Persha Liha standings with 40 points, trailing the second-place team by just two points. Bringing Mykhailov into the coaching setup could be a key step toward improving the club's results in upcoming matches.
The hiring of Mykhailo Mykhailov at 'Livyi Bereh' could have a major impact on the development of the club's young goalkeepers, given his vast experience in Ukrainian football. It also reflects the club's ambition to boost its performance in the Persha Liha, where it is currently competing for promotion. Adding a seasoned specialist like him may prove crucial in achieving those goals.
