Former forward of Kyiv's 'Dynamo', Gerson Rodrigues, will no longer be called up to the Luxembourg national team. This decision was made by the board of directors of the local football federation.
The reason was circumstances unrelated to sports activities, reports 'Dynamo Kyiv from Shurika'.
What is known about Gerson Rodrigues
The Luxembourger joined 'Dynamo' in the summer of 2019 and spent almost four years at the Kyiv club. During this time, he played over 30 matches, scored 6 goals, and also became the champion of Ukraine in the 2020/21 season. However, he did not become a stable first-team player and often went on loan, playing for 'Ankaragücü', 'Troyes', 'Al-Wehda', and 'Al-Nassr'.
The contract with Kyiv's 'Dynamo' ended on June 30, and he became a free agent. In early August, Rodrigues signed a deal with a club in Thailand - 'Kanchanaburi Power'.
