Orthopedic insoles and a walk around the city
“We resolved one important matter for both of us with Yaroslav: we got new orthopedic insoles for shoes. It was high time for me to update them, and Yarik had old ones left from the boots he no longer wears. Then we went to have lunch and strolled around the city unhurriedly. The weather was wonderful. We walked here on foot, as if it were a hundred years ago. We saw the iconic buildings of Kyiv after the shellings. I thought: not only people suffered injuries. Although, no, it’s harder and scarier for people,” wrote Kostiantyn Hrubych.
Support during rehabilitation
Yaroslav Hrubych continues his path to recovery after the injury, and his father Kostiantyn remains an important support during this tough time. The joint walk not only helped to solve practical issues but also allowed them to enjoy moments together in the calm atmosphere of Kyiv.
This story underscores the strength of family ties and the importance of support from loved ones during difficult times. Yaroslav Hrubych continues to fight for his recovery, receiving the necessary support from his father, which is a crucial component of psychological rehabilitation for veterans.
