Kovalenko explained how the escalation at the front is connected with the elections in the USA.
According to military-political observer Oleksandr Kovalenko, the Russian command believes that there is currently a favorable situation for advancing through the territory of Ukraine. This is linked to the unstable political situation in the USA, particularly with the elections. The beginning of Russian offensive actions in the Avdiivka direction occurred during the internal political instability in the USA, when aid to Ukraine was frozen. The situation in the Pokrovske-Kurakhivske direction worsened due to the lack of shells and weapons because of the absence of assistance from Washington. Russian troops throw a large number of invaders into battle, regardless of losses. They plan to take advantage of the situation until January 2025, when the inauguration of the new US president will take place. In October of this year, the Defense Forces incapacitated 42,000 Russian invaders.
