Kum Kamenskykh explained why she distanced herself from Ukraine

According to ТСН: Ukrainian singer and producer of the "Musical Platform" Hennadiy Viter, kum of Nastia Kamenskykh, shared his changed attitude towards the artist during the war.

Viter said that he last spoke with Kamenskykh in May when he congratulated her on her birthday. According to him, the singer distanced herself from the Ukrainian media space due to living abroad and the influence of her entourage with "different thoughts".

Criticism and Outrage

The journalist asked the producer when, in his opinion, Kamenskykh "went the wrong way". Viter admitted that he was most outraged by an incident in the USA when the singer switched to Russian during a conversation with the audience and said "kakaya raznitsa".

"You can sing any songs... But communicate with the audience exclusively in Ukrainian. This is very important right now. It is a marker that identifies you as a Ukrainian. There is no need to switch to the language of the aggressor," he emphasized in an interview with "I am interested".

Further Actions

Despite the criticism, Viter noted that he would continue to "defend" Kamenskykh on a personal level, as she is "not a stranger" to him. However, he is currently not ready to invite the star to the "Musical Platform", of which he is the producer.

Viter also reported that after 2022, Kamenskykh's activities abroad significantly declined. He emphasized that her earnings dropped, part of her audience was lost, and large investments in the Latin American direction became impossible. However, the kum regularly visits Ukraine — up to six times a year, including for participation in charity events.

It is worth noting that recently, the star couple Potap and Nastia Kamenskykh put their luxurious mansion with seven rooms and its own checkpoint near Kyiv up for sale. It became known what the house looks like inside and its territory outside.

This situation demonstrates how the war and new realities have affected Ukrainian artists, particularly their attitude towards each other and their chosen language policy. Viter, as a close person to Kamenskykh, tries to support her while expressing his concern about her choices. At the same time, the sale of the celebrity couple's real estate indicates economic difficulties and changes in their affairs.
