Dollar Exchange Rates in Ukraine for February 23

According to Novyny.live: On February 23, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the official exchange rate for the US dollar at 43.2747 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH). However, a premium has appeared on the unofficial market, where the selling rate for the dollar climbed to 43.321 UAH. This divergence highlights volatility in the currency market that can impact citizens' financial transactions. Such gaps between official and unofficial rates are often a barometer of economic pressure and demand for foreign currency.

Banks also raised their selling rate, reaching 43.55 UAH per dollar. Meanwhile, the bank buying rate decreased to 43.00 UAH. The situation on the black market differed: the dollar was sold at 43.30 UAH and bought at 43.198 UAH. After 12:00 PM, the black-market selling rate increased further to 43.321 UAH, and the buying rate rose to 43.236 UAH.
