Mexican Football Team Legend Accused of Attempted Rape of Stepsister.
Former Mexican national team player Cuauhtémoc Blanco is a subject of a lawsuit accusing him of attempted rape. The victim is his stepsister, who at the Time worked in the Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor. It is noted that Blanco threatened her with dismissal if she went to court.
Cuauhtémoc Blanco is a renowned Mexican footballer who played 119 matches for the Mexican national team and scored 38 goals, ranking third in the team's history. He is also the only Mexican footballer who has received international FIFA awards. Blanco had a successful career at both club and national levels.
Additionally, in Russia, a titled arm wrestler, Konstantin Rabinovich, has been detained on suspicion of committing lewd acts against six minors. Rabinovich is a well-known athlete and also the president of the Armwrestling Federation of the Shatura Municipal District. He has also received an award for his services to the municipal district.
A swimming coach in Russia has found himself in a similar situation, being detained on suspicion of raping a disabled girl. This case highlights the need to strengthen child protection against potential crimes.
