Legionnaires of 'Kryvbas' demand the team relocate to a safer city, - Media.


Foreign players of the Kryvyi Rih club 'Kryvbas' have put an ultimatum to the management. They threaten to leave the team if the club does not agree to their demand. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing 'Ukrainian Football'.
After the missile attack on Kryvyi Rih that occurred on April 4 and resulted in the deaths of 20 people and injuries to 75, the legionnaires of 'Kryvbas' appealed to the team management. The foreigners asked to move the team to a safe place, given the situation in the city.
The club did not agree to their proposal, but a final decision has not yet been made. However, the legionnaires of 'Kryvbas' are ready to leave the team if their demands are not met.
Composition of 'Kryvbas' Legionnaires:
- Defenders: Bakari Konate (Mali), Yan Yurchets (Croatia), Ivan Dibango (Cameroon), Rafael Bandeira (Portugal);
- Midfielders: Clement Ikenna (Nigeria), Hrvoje Ilic (Croatia), Matteo Amoroso (Brazil), Gleiker Mendoza (Venezuela), Maiken Gonzalez (Venezuela);
- Forwards: Daniel Sosa (Niger), Noah Ndombazi (France).
In the next round, 'Kryvbas' will meet Kyiv's 'Dynamo'. The match is scheduled for April 12 at 1:00 PM.
Currently, 'Kryvbas' is in fifth place in the Ukrainian Championship, having scored 35 points.
The draw for the semi-finals of the Ukrainian Cup also took place.
