Criticism of the level of the Ukrainian Premier League
Former 'Dynamo' and Ukraine national team footballer Viktor Leonenko expressed his opinion on the level of the Ukrainian Premier League. He emphasized that winning the Ukrainian championship makes no sense if teams do not show good performances in European competitions. Leonenko highlighted the necessity of raising the level of play in Ukrainian football.
Viktor Leonenko, who played for 'Dynamo' from 1992 to 1997, is a four-time champion of Ukraine. After 'Dynamo' became unbeaten in the Premier League and won the championship, the team can add a third star to its emblem and become the leader in the number of titles.
