Women's Nations League: Ukraine announces squad for matches against Albania and Croatia.


The women's national team of Ukraine has prepared for two matches of the Nations League 2025 against the teams of Albania and Croatia. Head coach Volodymyr Pyatenko has called up 24 players to participate in these matches.

Goalkeepers: Kateryna Samson (Vorskla Poltava), Daryna Bondarchuk (Metalist 1925 Kharkiv), Kateryna Boklach (Nantes, France).
Defenders: Kateryna Korsun, Yana Kotyk, Iryna Podolskaya, Maryna Shainyuk (all – Vorskla Poltava), Darya Apanashchenko, Olha Basanska, Lesia Olkhova (all – Metalist 1925 Kharkiv), Liubov Shmatko (Fomget, Turkey).
Midfielders: Veronika Andrukhiv, Dayana Semkiv (both – Kolos Kovalivka), Yana Kalinina (Vorskla Poltava), Natiia Pantsulaya, Anna Petryk, Viktoriya Hyrin (all – Metalist 1925 Kharkiv), Darya Ivkova (Sisters Odesa), Nikole Kozlova (Glasgow City, Scotland), Yana Malakhova (Mura, Slovenia).
Forwards: Roksolana Kravchuk (Vorskla Poltava), Yelyzaveta Molodyuk (Metalist 1925 Kharkiv), Olha Ovdiichuk (Fomget, Turkey), Inna Hlushchenko (Lille, France).
The first match between the women's national team of Ukraine and Albania will take place on May 30 in the Croatian city of Varazdin. The meeting will start at 21:00. The game against the team of Croatia is scheduled for June 3 at the Branko Chavlovich-Chavlek Stadium in the town of Karlovac, with both matches also starting at 21:00.
After four rounds of the Nations League, Ukraine tops group B4 with three wins and one draw. To secure first place in the group, our team only needs to win one of the two final matches.
The Ukrainian Championship in women's football has ended, with the team Vorskla being crowned champion for the third consecutive Time.
