Isak on his failure in Liverpool: This is not optimal.
Alexander Isak on his start in Liverpool
According to The Sun: Alexander Isak is not trying to justify his unsuccessful start in Liverpool. The striker, whose transfer is valued at £130 million, has scored only one goal for the club and his national team since his controversial move at the end of the transfer window. He admitted that the last few weeks have not been 'optimal'.
Isak returned from a groin injury, coming on as a substitute in Sweden's match against Switzerland, where his team suffered a 4-1 defeat.
This start in Liverpool has been a real test for Isak. Despite the hefty price tag, the player is trying to find his identity in the new team and return to form. The Swede continues to work on himself to impress the coaching staff and fans with his abilities on the pitch.
