According to The Sun: The former actor of 'London’s Burning' is under criminal investigation due to accusations of sexual offenses. John Alford, also known for his role in 'Grange Hill', appeared in court where details of his alleged sexual actions with underage girls were revealed.

53-year-old Alford, whose real name is John Shannon, is accused of allegedly engaging in sexual contact with one of the girls in the restroom and in the garden, as well as having sexual intercourse with another minor.

The jury revealed facts of the case, stating that both girls were clearly underage. Alford denies all accusations, including six counts, among which are two cases of inappropriate sexual activity with girls under 16.

“I think he told one of the girls 'no', and that there was no sexual activity,” said prosecutor Julia Whitby.

Alford gained popularity in his teenage years, playing the role of Robbie Wright in 'Grange Hill' and later worked on other projects, such as 'London’s Burning' and in several films.

It is known that throughout his career, Alford also tried to realize himself in music, releasing three singles that entered the UK Top 30.
