According to The Sun: The star of the tenth season of Love Island, Mel Nicole, shared a shocking story about an urgent call to 999 when she decided to 'catch a pedophile'.

Mel, who entered the show as a 'bombshell' in 2023, shared that she noticed a suspicious man near a children's park.

She reached out to her followers on TikTok:

“We caught a pedophile. I literally can't believe we witnessed this. It was like a real movie.”

While walking with a friend, Mel approached a group of young boys who were complaining about a 'creepy man'. Concerned for their safety, she headed to the park in Little Venice in London to investigate.

“Soon we realized this man was not normal,” she continues.

“He was standing near the park, swaying, trying to greet a little boy, about five years old.”

According to Mel, the man attempted to grab a girl who was riding a scooter, but her father intervened. She emphasized that the man went into the park where there were many young mothers with small children who looked vulnerable and frightened.

“I called 999 and was amazed at how quickly the police arrived,” she added.

“When the officers arrived, I ran to them, screaming: ‘He'll escape, he'll escape!’”

“I felt like I was in a movie. I was running,” Mel noted.

The police arrested the suspect, and Mel was interviewed alongside other witnesses.

“This is happening in London, and I believe you should do something. You can't just stand by. It was crazy.”

Mel also added:

“Sorry for the long video, but we sent the pedophile to jail.”
