According to inkorr.com: Lucas Vazquez, a Spanish footballer, has signed a contract with 'Bayer'. According to 'Glavkom', the deal with the Leverkusen club was made on the terms of a free agent for the 34-year-old midfielder.
The contract will run until June 2027. Vazquez has concluded his cooperation with Madrid's 'Real' after the 2024/25 season.
“I am looking forward to continuing my journey at 'Bayer', a club that Javi Alonso and Dani Carvajal have told me so much about. 'Bayer' aims for victory and strives for the highest goals. This approach aligns with my vision,” shared Vazquez.
During his career at 'Real', Vazquez won 23 trophies, including five Champions Leagues and four La Liga titles. He played 402 matches for the Madrid club and scored 38 goals, as well as making his debut for the Spanish national team.
