Almost 210 hryvnias per kilo: what is happening with fish prices in January.
Supermarkets reported changes in fish prices in January. This is evident from the data of the Minfin portal.
Fish, whether fresh or frozen, is one of the popular products among Ukrainians. However, even after the New Year holidays, its price has noticeably increased compared to last month. Let's look at how much carp, mackerel, and herring cost as of January 25.
Specifically, the average price of live carp has risen from 155.33 UAH to 160.50 UAH per 1 kg. The price of gutted carp has increased from 202.97 UAH to 204.00 UAH per 1 kg.
As for herring, its price has increased even more significantly - from 175.32 UAH/kg to 207.67 UAH/kg.
The prices for fresh frozen mackerel have risen from 181.93 UAH/kg to 194.00 UAH/kg.
