French President Emmanuel Macron announced his intention to hold a meeting of the 'Coalition of Willing' after the meeting between US leader Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska. European leaders are doing everything possible to create security guarantees for Ukraine. In his social media post on Saturday, August 16, Macron shared this important news. After the meeting in Alaska, EU leaders together with the President of Ukraine and the President of the USA discussed further actions. Macron stressed that they together support Ukraine and will continue to exert pressure on Russia. The 'Coalition of Willing' plans to convene a meeting in the coming days to coordinate actions to ensure security for Ukraine. In his statement, Macron emphasized the importance of unwavering security guarantees for achieving lasting peace in Ukraine. In particular, he welcomed the willingness of the USA to contribute to this process and called on all partners of the 'Coalition of Willing' for joint actions. Thus, after the meeting of Trump and Putin, the European Union is actively working to ensure security for Ukraine and to establish cooperation with partners. Together they strive to achieve a peaceful resolution of the conflict and stop Russia's aggression.
